As an associate attorney with James Martin Davis and Beau G. Finley, I have helped in trial preparation, drafted legal memorandum and documents, assisted in trials, negotiated settlements, investigated cases, interviewed clients, conducted depositions, and prepared and argued over 40 briefs; including briefs to the Nebraska Appellate Court, Nebraska Supreme Court, Iowa Supreme Court, Eighth Circuit Court and the United States Supreme Court.  I conducted my first solo Federal Jury Trial in January 2005, and am currently on the CJA panel.

As a Police Officer, I enforced Federal, State, and Local laws. I conducted investigations and interviews, collected evidence, made arrests of violators and assisted prosecutors in the trial procedure, which included court appearances.  I helped educate the public and other law enforcement officials as an instructor. I received several awards while employed, including the Distinguished Service Award in 1992 and Award of Valor in 1998.
